1. Services
Kode Builder provides done-for-you website design, hosting setup, SSL configuration, business email setup assistance, maintenance, backups, and support as described in the selected package or written quotation.
2. Customer responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate business information, logos, content, product data, images, prices, policies, and timely feedback required to complete setup. Content writing, large data entry, and custom functionality beyond the package scope may require separate fees.
3. Fees and payment
Setup fees and monthly fees are charged as stated on the website or in your quotation. Listed prices exclude GST unless a written quotation states otherwise; applicable GST is added on the invoice. Domain registration, renewal, third-party transaction charges, and add-on services may be billed separately. Setup work begins after payment and receipt of required content unless otherwise agreed in writing. No automatic upgrade or additional charge is applied without your approval. Your plan does not change simply because the business becomes more successful.
4. Monthly plans and support
Monthly plans include hosting, maintenance, backups, and support within the time limits listed for each package. Unused support time does not roll over. Major redesigns, new pages, custom integrations, and large content changes are quoted separately.
5. Ownership
You retain ownership of content, logos and images you supply. The domain should preferably be registered in your name. Kode Builder retains rights to reusable templates, frameworks, shared components and proprietary modules. Those modules may not be transferable if you move away from Kode Builder hosting.
After a monthly plan ends, a standard website can usually be transferred to another host. Migration assistance — including DNS, hosting, email or custom-module work — may be quoted separately. Website backups are retained for 30 days after the service end date unless a quotation states otherwise. Business email hosted through Kode Builder ends when the plan ends unless you move it to your own provider during the notice period.
Custom code ownership, if any, is defined in your project agreement.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use our services for unlawful content, malware distribution, spam, or activities that harm third parties or our infrastructure.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kode Builder is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to a package is limited to the fees paid for that package in the twelve months before the claim.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in India shall have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protections where applicable.
