Typical work is a WordPress or marketing site — core and plugin updates, SSL and backups, broken-form fixes, and a monthly window for copy or image changes. New India-priced sites with hosting already bundled live on business website packages. This page is the care after go-live, including sites we did not build. It is not custom software development and not taking over a large application.

Most businesses do not need a redesign every year. They need pages that go live, then a named partner who still answers when a plugin breaks or a form stops sending.

  1. Start — scope, pages, contact forms, branding. India-priced new sites use business website packages.
  2. Launch — hosting, SSL, business email and backups from day one, on a restore path we can actually use.
  3. Maintain — plugin and security updates, uptime checks, and agreed content edits each month. Unused support time does not roll over.

If the site already exists, we skip the build and begin with a review. Same team either way — you are not handed to a different vendor the week after launch.

Who this page is for

Use this page if you want website care after launch: a Kode Builder package whose monthly plan already includes hosting and a support-time limit, extra hours beyond that cap, or a WordPress / brochure site someone else built.

If you only need a new packaged site, start on the packages page. If you need portals, SaaS or integrations, use custom software development. Application takeover, bug-fix retainers on a product codebase, and legacy modernization stay on a separate offer — they are not this page.

What website maintenance covers

  • Scheduled backups and a restore path we can actually use
  • CMS, plugin and theme updates on WordPress (tested on staging when the site warrants it)
  • SSL renewal, PHP or hosting version notices, and malware cleanup when the site is recoverable
  • Uptime and certificate checks, with a named contact for incidents
  • Agreed content edits (hours per month, unused time does not roll over)
  • Form, email and DNS issues that stop enquiries

Major redesigns, extra pages, extra mailboxes, traffic-capacity changes, booking, CRM, e-commerce and custom functionality are quoted before work begins — the same rule as on our website package terms.

How care starts

  1. Site review — new build or existing URL, CMS, plugins, hosting access and what “support” must include.
  2. Written first-month scope — backup method, update cadence, hour cap and exclusions.
  3. Access and staging — we do not change production without a restore point.
  4. Monthly notes — what was updated, what failed, what waits for a quotation.

We do not publish a public website-maintenance rate card on this page. After we see the site (or the first-build scope) we send a written estimate. India package prices (setup + monthly hosting and support) stay on the packages page and are not the model for a messy third-party WordPress takeover. US work, if we take it, is quoted in USD. Not every existing site is a good fit — abandoned plugins, no backups and no admin access often need a rebuild quote first.
